AP Creator of the Month, Apr 2019 : Fabiana

Welcome to AP Spotlight. Every month, we’ll pick an AP Creator of the Month and interview them, and they send us a little video intro with some quick tips for other AP Creators.

For April, our?AP Creator of the Month is Fabiana. They’re relatively new to making clips, but has already made a huge splash online and is consistently one of the top sellers on AP. In their video below, they also share some great tips for fellow content creators.

How’d you get started making adult content?
I’ve been a sex worker for years and it was just kind of a natural progression for me. I’ve been running a premium Snapchat with explicit content on it for 5 years or so. I had wanted to start making videos for a long time and then finally shot my first scene with a twitter mutual.

How long have you been making content?
I’ve only been making videos for a little over a year.

What inspires your content?
I pretty much just shoot whatever I’m into personally, things i want to try or what I think is fun. I watch porn from a lot of creators and get inspired by their lighting, filming and editing techniques.

What’s your favorite content you’ve ever made?
One of my favorites is still the first sex scene I shot with Mickey Mod, our chemistry and passion is fun to watch. As far as solo videos go, I love my first anal video!

How do you promote your brand, and what’s the most successful method(s) for you?
I use Twitter, Instagram, Pornhub and word of mouth really. I find Twitter to be the best for promotion, especially with the video trailers and teasers I make for the site. Instagram is risky with all the censorship but that along with PornHub help me gain followers on Twitter.

What’s your trick to balancing your daily life?
I wish I had one! It’s difficult balancing stripping, filming and self care. I think it helps to have a little routine or a schedule planned out for days to rest, film and edit. I always give myself time for coffee and breakfast before I get to work and some breaks in between to get out of the house with my dog.

If you could give a new creator advice, what’s would it be?
Take your time and don’t be so hard on yourself! There is definitely a learning curve and you?ll always find something to pick apart in your videos. Write down your video ideas and outline them, film more footage than you think you might need, pay attention to details, play with angles and watermark your content!

If you make customs – what’s the weirdest request and did you do it?
I think the weirdest request I received was from someone who wanted me to be a giantess but also his step sister and pee and fuck him in the shower.

How do you film? Any special lighting equipment/camera? Feel free to share some of your tips
It’s always different and sometimes the rigs I set up are strange to get the right angles. I have a Canon 5d mark ii, a go pro and an iPhone X. I mainly use my iPhone now since it shoots in 4K and I’m in the process of getting a mirrorless camera that’s more friendly for video. I have studio lights, colored LED lights and a ring light and also use natural light whenever possible. If you want to shoot with your phone go to change the settings to shoot 4K and grab a tripod and a cell phone holder for it separately. Everyone starts somewhere and fancy equipment isn’t always necessary to make good videos.

What do you like about using AP as a platform?
I did a lot of research on clip sites before deciding to use AP as my only platform. I appreciate the higher pay out and how quickly tech support responds. I also just feel like AP cares about models more than other sites. It’s nice to feel like a site cares about promoting all models and not just the top sellers.

Has your brand evolved since you started? If so, how?
I feel like my brand is the same because I’m always just me. If anything, I’m just more comfortable in front of the camera and online.

What are you watching on Netflix right now?
Currently watching Love, Death & Robots in between editing!

What’s a meme to describe yourself?

Fabiana, you started out dancing and now make clips as well. How did you make the transition? Did anyone introduce you to clip making?
It was a natural transition for me although it took me a long time to finally get there for mental health reasons. I had a stripper Twitter for a long time where i followed a lot of other sex workers and that’s how i got introduced to clip making. Then I finally shot my first sex tape with Oliver Davis who is a total sweetheart.

We are loving your new videos. How did you meet fellow clip makers to collab with? Any advice to anyone who would want to reach out to collaborate with another clip artist?
Thank you! I basically do a lot of networking on Twitter and at any of the adult entertainment events I go to. If someone is in my area I contact them about shooting or just say “I’m going to be in this city on these dates, who wants to shoot?” I’m not gonna lie, I get nervous about asking people to work with me if we haven’t before so I don’t do a lot of the asking.

How did you come up with your stage name?
So I started stripping over 8 years ago. At the time I didn’t really know anything about it aside from knowing that I wanted to do it. I didn’t realize I needed a stage name and I only had two minutes to choose before going on stage. Pulp Fiction was a movie I loved back then so I drew inspiration from Bruce Willis’ girlfriend in the movie. It stuck, I’ve never changed my name and now go by it in my regular life as well.
