Welcome to AP Spotlight. Every month, we’ll pick an AP Creator of the Month and interview them, and they send us a little video intro with some quick tips for other AP Creators.

For June, our AP Creator of the Month is KitKendal. She’s been with AP for about two years, but in the last few months has had huge success, consistently placing among the Top 3 Sellers on our platform.

How’d you get started making adult content?
I’ve always enjoyed performing. When I turned 18, I had a friend suggest camming to me, and I’ve been enjoying that and making content since!

How long have you been making content?
Its my 4 year anniversary this month actually!!

What inspires your content?
A lot of my content is a mixture of fetishes and kinks I have personally, intertwined with characters myself or my followers like.

What’s your favorite content you’ve ever made?
Ohhhh thats a hard one! I really like my Ramona GFE videos a lot and I’m very proud of the Nier videos I did as well! I’m especially excited for the new cosplay content im putting out this month!

How do you promote your brand, and what’s the most successful method(s) for you?
Thats honestly something that varies. I get the most traction from camming frequently on multiple platforms, and cross-promote my clips there. I post a lot of photosets and previews to gype up new content across social media as well.

What’s your trick to balancing your daily life?
In 4 years, I’m still trying to learn the trick to a healthy balance. The benefits to working for yourself is being able to take breaks when needed, but the hard part is balancing enough work to maintain having a relaxed schedule and lifestyle.

If you could give a new creator advice, what would it be?
Be original and do what makes you happy! It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to do things, and when I started trusting my gut and my passions everything fell into place.

If you make customs – what’s the weirdest request and did you do it?
I’ve had my share of weird custom requests for sure. Recently I had someone offer me an embarrassingly small amount of money to completely cover myself in different foods while in costume and that was…something. I don’t mean like, milk or cream or chocolate. I mean like… tuna salad and eggs and all kinds of weird gross stuff lol.

How do you film? Any special lighting equipment/camera? Feel free to share some of your tips
It depends on the video. Ive been using color changing LED lights a lot lately for some cool mood lighting. I try to use natural, or natural looking lights as much as possible when I film.

I use anything from a camcorder, DSLR, webcam, and my phone to film (granted my phone has a very good camera). Don’t think your equipment is ever inadequate though! You can always upgrade too as time goes on! My first video was filmed on a laptop camera.

What do you like about using AP as a platform?
I absolutely love the site design. Higher payouts is great and the community on AP as a whole is very nice and supportive. I feel like I’m working with genuine good people that want to see every one of us strive as creators! The support from the site and the creators on there is super nice and refreshing.

Has your brand evolved since you started? If so, how?
When I first started, it was to great money to move out of an incredibly abusive household. That amount of compassion and support hasn’t left since, but thank god I’m in easier healthier times now. After a few years in an incredibly abusive manipulative relationship, I finally got the strength to break things off. I took a little break and decided to finally brand myself as something more me. Ive always been Kendal across platforms and Kit was a sweet cute name people would call me that I felt close to so thats where I went from there! I started doing more cosplay and creating clips and its been great since!

What are you watching on Netflix right now?
I’m watching Venture Bros on Hulu while typing this actually lol

I’m rewatching The Umbrella Academy and I watch TONS of Forensics Files lmao. Is Shrek still on Netflix?

What’s a meme to describe yourself?

Kit, you’ve been on AP since 2017 and the last few months have made it to the top 3 sellers. We’re so proud of you! Any tips to fellow creators on how to reach for the top?
Just do your thing and keep pushing for the most success you can! Get yourself out there as much as you can! Don’t give up and try not to compare yourself to others.

How do you come up with all your cosplay content?
A lot of it is by popularity, general interest requests, commission, or my own personal interest. I go between whats mainstream, popular, fan favorites, and my own favorite costumes!

How did you come up with your stage name?
Pretty simple, Kendal is a name I used as a cosplay name and nick name and kit is a more endearing nickname i liked people to call me on cam.
