You read that right. You can now grant AP the ability to automatically tweet on your behalf for any of the following events :

• Adding a new Video
• Adding a new Photoset
• Adding a new Bundle
• Selling a Public and/or Unlisted Video
• Selling a Public and/or Unlisted Photoset
• Selling a Public?and/or Unlisted Bundle
• Fulfilling a BTO Video order

All you need to do is login to your AP account, connect your Twitter account, and choose which events will trigger a tweet. After that, you’re all set and we’ll take care of the rest.

Will the tweets show a custom image/cover I’ve chosen for a video, photoset, or bundle?

Yes. We show whatever you’ve got set as your current preview image, even if you uploaded a separate image to use as a custom preview.

What if I want to get the fancy tweet, but not immediately as I’m adding the content? What if I want to trigger it some time later?

Every Video and Photoset (manual Bundle tweets coming soon) has a button to trigger a tweet that looks just like our auto-tweet. You can click it any time.

If I set a new video to Private (or Unlisted) on upload, then later set it Public, will that trigger a tweet?

Yup. Only the first time, unless you trigger it manually.

For tweets that announce I fulfilled a BTO Video, is it going to show a screenshot of that video?

Absolutely not. We worried that might expose a private moment between you and your customer (like, say, if you had their name written on a slip of paper) and we didn’t want to chance it. Instead, we tweet out an animated GIF our mascot Cathy walking through a rain of money.

Can I get an auto-tweet on tips?

Not yet. We’re seeing how you, the models, respond to this before adding what might be overkill. Let us know!

Can I customize the tweets to add certain hashtags or phrases?

What if I sell 10 of the exact same video/photoset/bundle over the course of 10 minutes?

Then you’ll have 10 tweets in your timeline about it. If this annoys you, we’ll change it. Consider this an open beta, and let us know!

What if I want to turn it off, or just turn off certain tweets?

You can visit your “My Account” page at any time to change what will trigger an auto-tweet, turn off ones you don’t like, or revoke access altogether. If you switch to a new Twitter account, you can even revoke access to the old one and connect the new one.

My partner and I have separate AP accounts, but the same Twitter account. Can we link both accounts to the same Twitter account?

Nope. That’s a twitter limitation. Whichever is the latest account to grant access is the only one that will work properly.
