AP is now open to ALL Content Creators! (and we have new payouts!)
First up, it’s been a looooong time coming, but we wanted to make sure we did it right and covered all the bases. But! We’ve finally done it :
Now Accepting Studios and ALL Content Creators
That’s right. Our Creators area is now split into 4 Content Creator types :
- AP Models
- AP Studios
- AP Trans
- AP Gay
These options are also available when browsing videos, photosets, and bundles. Users choose which Content Creator types they want to see while browsing content and their preferences are instantly updated.
Because we’ve always been open and welcoming to the trans community – this change will not affect our trans models unless you, yourself, choose to switch from AP Models to AP Trans.
As for the other types? Here’s the breakdown :
Who Should List Where?
- Individual Models?should usually list themselves in AP Models. Trans Men and Women can choose AP Models or AP Trans, as you see fit.
- Studios, Producers, Couples, and Straight Solo Men?must?be listed in AP Studios, to differentiate from individual amateur models
- Gay Cis Men?should list in AP Gay, and Trans Men can choose if they’d like to list in AP Models, AP Gay, or AP Trans
- Trans Models?can choose to be listed alongside AP Models, AP Trans, or (if applicable) AP Gay
IMPORTANT : If you’ve applied in the past but never got approved, login again and choose where you’d like to be listed. Since we previously didn’t allow certain account types, you can now choose and we can approve you.
Quick FAQ :
If I’m a solo model but sometimes my partner is in my videos, do I need to be listed in AP Studios?
Probably not. If your account presents as a couple (i.e. “Mike & Jenna”, “The Roller Girls”, etc) then you should list in AP Studios. If you list as a solo model, but occasionally involve other people in your content, that’s perfectly fine and will remain that way.
I’m a trans model on your site, currently listed in AP Models. Will be required to list in AP Trans?
Nope. You have the choice of staying listed in AP Models, or switch to AP Trans if you’d prefer. This also applies to any future trans AP applicants — it’s your choice where you’d like to be listed.
How do I change where I’m being listed?
Visit your “My Account” page. If you’re currently listed in AP Models, you’re allowed to be listed wherever feels appropriate for you. Once you switch where you’re listed, you would need to reach out to support if you wanted to list somewhere else.
Will my profile change if I’m listed somewhere other than AP Models?
Nope. The only difference is that where you’re listed will be highlighted in our menubar while someone is viewing your profile (or content). Your profile itself remains the same as ever.
If you have any additional questions, as always, you can post in the AP Lounge or email us : support@amateurporn.com.
New Payout Options
In addition to the fantastic news above, we’ve added?three?new payout options! You’re no longer limited to just PayPal and Check by Mail. You can now choose from the following :
- Check by mail
- Paypal
- International Wire
- Domestic U.S. Wire
- Direct Deposit (U.S. Only)
Be sure to check your My Account page and update your payout preferences if you’d like to use one of these new options.
A Few Minor Tweaks
There’s quite a few things under the hood we’ve changed that you might not notice. But here’s a few you might :
- Pagination on “My Videos” page. If you’ve got 100s of videos on our platform, loading your “My Videos” page was probably a long and slow process. No more! Now we only load the first 25 videos and you can skip forward/back to load more
- Performance improvements. You might notice certain operations and browsing is faster than before. We’re always working to improve our speed and responsiveness
Okay, that’s all for now. Let’s have a record-breaking July and THANK YOU ALL so much for your continued support in making AmateurPorn.com the best platform on the web for selling your own content!
