As part of our continued mission to give AP Creators the very best tools to maximize their traffic and profits, today we introduce two highly-requested features for all AP Creators.

Custom Trailers

Do you make your own fancy previews for your videos and would rather sell your videos using that instead of AP’s default “pick 10 seconds to use” method? Well you’re in luck, cause now you can!

It’s as simple as editing a video, dropping a video into the Custom Video Trailer uploader, and hitting “Save Changes”. We do all the work in the background and as soon as it’s done processing (which can take up to 15 minutes, depending on the filesize and length of your trailer) it’ll automatically replace the default AP preview. And you can change the custom trailer for any video any time you want!

While the filesize is limited to 3GB (like all videos), the length of the preview is up to you – we place no restriction on time.

NOTE : you cannot currently revert to AP’s default preview method on a video that’s been given a custom trailer. If that’s something enough models need, we’ll add it in the next round of updates.

Free Content

Ever thought “if only I could make a quick teaser video that sits at the top of my video list and gives a nice little preview of what my content is all about, and is FREE to all registered members” – you’re in luck, too! This applies to Photosets as well.

Simply change the price to 0 tokens and voila! The content is free and any registered member can “buy” it and get a feel for how the buying process on AP works. It’s a great way to convert casual viewers into members, and we look forward to seeing how you use it.

The Future

We’re always working hard to make models happy and profitable as best we can. While some features take longer than others, AP Creators have posted great ideas in the AP Lounge that were simple enough we went ahead with them.
