For November, our AP Creator of the Month is ThePetiteNymphet. Let’s meet her…

How’d you get started making adult content?
I was selling my used panties online and has lots of requests for videos of me masturbating in them, so I started to do customs. I had a lot of fun filming myself, and so started to branch out into selling videos that weren’t just customs.

How long have you been making content?
Five years all up! I took a break for about six-eight months when I started escorting, but found I really missed it as a creative outlet so started back up again, and I’m so glad I did.

What inspires your content?
It varies so much! Sometimes I’ll just be randomly struck with an idea that I want to bring to life; other times when I’m working with other models we just sit and bounce ideas off each other until we figure out something we’re both wanting to do; other times again a certain song or movie will inspire me.

What’s your favorite content you’ve ever made?
Definitely my more “funny” videos – I love being sexy and silly and laughing at myself. Shimakaze VS Tentacle Monster and Ghost Thruster are probably the two vids I’m proudest of for that very reason!

How do you promote your brand, and what’s the most successful method(s) for you?
I mainly use twitter; and also am on Instagram, PornHub, and have a free SnapChat. Twitter is definitely the most successful platform for me, and I find advertising discounts on my free SnapChat works pretty well.

What’s your trick to balancing your daily life?
Ha, I don’t have that quite down pat yet! I’m slowly getting better at balancing work and daily life, but I am a total workaholic and have a hard time switching off. Lately I’ve tried blocking out a certain amount of hours every week and using those hours as “me” time, and it seems to work but I really do have a hard time sticking to the allotted time frame.

If you could give a new creator advice, what would it be?
Do your research! When I started I jumped in blindly and hardly did any research whatsoever, and while nothing bad happened I certainly didn’t make the most of my first couple of months of content creation. Remember that a lot of sites will do their best to promo newbies, so try and make sure you have everything in order for that! Get your socials set up, don’t open your store until you have at least 5 different videos for clients to buy, etc.

If you make customs – what’s the weirdest request and did you do it?
I don’t like to use words like weird or strange when discussing videos/fetishes as it can come across as quite rude and judgmental of the individual who made the request, or of others who share that fantasy

How do you film? Any special lighting equipment/camera? Feel free to share some of your tips
Most of my content is shot on a DSLR, I also have a camcorder for POV shots. I have two soft boxes but don’t use them much as I strongly prefer the look of just natural light. In saying that, I started with just my phone camera and webcam and lamps from around my house and they worked just fine! Don’t feel the need to spend thousands on equipment until it’s comfortably in your budget.

What do you like about using AP as a platform?
Well of course the payout is a big draw! But I’ve also found the staff to be beyond lovely whenever I’ve talked with them – definitely the nicest customer service team I’ve ever encountered. I also love that they do their best to showcase all the models on their site regardless of how much money they make/how popular they are.

Has your brand evolved since you started? If so, how?
Most definitely! Petite Nymphet is really my second brand – when selling panties and starting in porn I had a slightly different one that was a lot less polished and a lot more focused on smoking, looners and other niche fetishes. While I still enjoy playing around with niche content, I don’t dedicate as much time to it as I used to; Petite Nymphet is for a more main-stream (but still pretty kinky!) audience compared to my previous brand.

What are you watching on Netflix right now?
Chef’s Table – food & cooking are probably my favourite things outside of sex! Plus it’s so beautifully shot, it’s really relaxing to watch.

What’s a meme to describe yourself?

You do a lot of content with other creators. What’s your favorite part about filming with others?
It’s hard to choose just one favourite thing! I adore shooting with other people – you can try out more things, and I love having someone to bounce ideas off and hear what they’re feeling inspired by. Plus everyone I’ve shot with is a mega-babe so I just feel lucky I’m able to get sexy with them!

Any advice to fellow creators to meet up with others and make awesome content like you?
Most of the models I’ve shot porn with I already knew from escorting; but if you’re wanting to shoot with others I’d suggest posting about it on social media (give people an idea of where you’re located & what kind of stuff you want to make) and see who responds. Also don’t be afraid to reach out – so long as you’re polite and respect the fact they may say no, there’s nothing wrong with messaging someone and asking if they’d like to shoot together.
